Auchindoun Castle + OOTD | Myra Murison

Last time I posted a video it was three months ago. I was very busy at College doing my HNC and I found it hard to focus on YouTube because of that. Now I'm finished I finally have the time to get back on track again and start doing YouTube videos.

My husband and I went to Auchindoun Castle just a few miles south of Dufftown. As we often travel in and around Aberdeenshire, we have often see this castle from the distance, and my husband has always wanted to check it out, because it's so beautiful from the highland road. It is almost an hour drive from our place and it was approximately a 10 minute walk from the car park. The castle is surrounded by a few modern day farms and it has breathe taking scenery. The castle on its own is outstanding! The structure, the details and the stones used to build this castle speaks of its ancient lineage, it's fascinating. I was really happy with the weather, is was just perfect. I was able to do a video plus outfit of the day in this beautiful location with its outstanding scenery. Check out the video.

I Love Nature | Road Trip

Hey guys! I was on a road trip this week and we headed of to the Muir of Dinnet to see the Burn O' Vat Falls. It was almost a two hour drive to get there, it is located in Aberdeenshire. It was so much fun! The views are so amazing and breathtaking.. I loved it. Please watch the video below to see one of Scotland's little known beauty spots!

To become a YouTuber has been one of my dreams, but it has taken me 6 years to pluck up the courage. For years, I kept asking my husband "do you think I can do YouTube?" and he said you will one day. He encouraged me to do Beauty course, to build up my knowledge and skills. So I did. Four years later, I'm about to finish my HNC Beauty Therapy course this May. This is my fourth year. I would say that doing this course definitely enhanced my skills and knowledge. I learned so much stuff I never thought that I could do. My confidence has been building up slowly but surely. Thanks to all my lecturers and my classmates, who have been really supportive all the way! My friends, family and most importantly, my husband. I feel so blessed. Elegant Touch Rapid Dry For Nails

Have you ever experienced or felt sometimes that you want your nails done but you can't be bothered because you don't have time to let your nail polish dry esp. when you're busy running errands? Well, let me tell you guys, this little bad ass here is my new best friend. Just spray it over your nails and you're done in 60 seconds! Yes, that's right "60 seconds". 

 

I got this Elegant Touch Rapid Dry For Nails from Glossybox beauty subscription ages ago and it was only sitting in my dressing room. But today I fancied trying it out and OMG.. I just cant believe how quickly it dried my nails. It's amazing!

 

So, for all the girls, ladies esp. mums out there who's out and about. This product is gonna be your best bud ever! I am completely in love with it! It does exactly what it says on the product. Plus with Vitamin E to condition your cuticles, what more could you ask for??

La Roche-Posay EFFACLAR K

I have been using this cream for three weeks now and so far so good. I don't get much acne or blemishes for the past 3 weeks. Meaning this cream/moisturiser is working well on my skin. I wonder why I didn't use this as soon as I bought it. It's just sitting on the corner of my dressing table waiting for La Roche EFFACLAR DUO to finish knowing it doesn't really work on my skin at all. I just waisted time.

Anyway, La Roche-Posay EFFACLAR K is a French line. You can get this in Boots or in any chemist or drugstore. EFFACLAR K is good for oily skin or combination to oily skin type which I am. There's Salicylic Acid in it. I apply this every morning and night after I cleanse my face. My skin feels tighter everytime I apply it which is good because I have large open pores due to skin damage. Also this cream absorbed quickly into the skin which is plus point for oily skin type. It's like matte finish..

So.. I'm hoping continuing using this product, my skin is gonna be a lot better.. more clearer and radiant. Wish me luck! I highly recommend it!

The main reason I really love this product is because of the smell. Secondly, it detangles my hair. Omgosh.. It used to take me half an hour to comb my hair after I washed it.. I mean it.. My hair is very long and it always tends to be taggy after I wash my hair. It's so annoying! But not anymore! Using this Beauty Protector makes my life easy! I just spray this all over my hair and rub it in for few seconds just to spread the formula and Whoala! Takes me 3-5 minutes only to comb my hair and I'm done! Magic. And the smell.. oh my.. the perfume lasts most of the day too. So, I really really highly recommend it! I know £15- its a bit pricey for a hair product but man.. if you have long straggly hair like mine its worth every penny! One of the best hair products that I have ever used. As you can see I just bought the full size one.! :)

I chose Glossybox because the products are bang on for summer use. The box is superb! Plus the samples are gonna last a while. So, I have to say Glossybox for me is the clear winner this month. There is three full size samples in the box which is something rarely you receive. The products this month are great value. Box only cost £12.95 including p&p. While the goods in it actually total to £24.95 Cool eh? I am so impress!!

 

 

 

 

First up is Ciate London Paint Pot, Island Hopping. It is a full size, Retails at £9-. It is a beautiful red-corally colour which is in this summer. I have been wanting this product for ages but considered it too expensive. I had noticed Ciate London often give free samples to the companies who do these beauty boxes. So, I was just hoping that one day I would receive a free sample and here it is. Yeeha!

 

 

Second, NIP+FAB Spot Fix or Shine Fix. This product is perfect for me because I get a lot of spots on my face which is really annoying! Hope this one is going to be the miracle product that ends spots. Although, I'm not really holding onto much hope. So, fingers crossed. Full size, £9.95

 

 

Third, Anatomicals Spray misty for me facial spritz. Full size £6. I love this coz mainly is for refreshing your skin with or without makeup on. This one is good when you are travelling. Just spray it on your face and you are good to go!

 

 

Fourth, Coola Organic Suncare Collection, Coola Mineral Face SPF 20 Rose Essence Tint. I'm really happy I have this is my box as well. Because lately I have been using tint with spf instead of foundation. As much as possible I'm avoiding putting foundation on my face because my skin is really sensitive and seemingly I get spots after I use foundation. The only foundation I really enjoy using is Chanel Perfection Lumiere Fluide. For me, this foundation is really amazing! It don't give me spots after I use it. It's one of the products in my holy grail of makeup drawer! Anyway, back to tint! I hope this Coola Mineral Face Tint is going to be my best friend. It is light coverage and you might need concealer to cover your blemishes. This is a good product for people who don't like wearing foundation.  

 

 

And then lastly, Alterna Haircare, Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist. Another hair stuff. Awesome. There's nothing much I can say about this product. I will definitely use this.

EDIT: Mainly in Birchbox samples none of them really excite me. Although, I like theBalm Blush tiny sample and hand cream. Anti-Ageing Face Mask is good too but its something that I'm not really looking forward to trying.. Amarya is my least favourite beauty box this month. The samples aren't great and not suitable for my skin type. Zoya mini nail polish is definitely my fave from the box and Neom hand cream.. I mean, who doesn't like hand cream?
